Kronplatz ski area
Kronplatz is undoubtedly a paradise for demanding skiers and snowboarders. With over 100 kilometres of pistes and modern lifts, the ski area offers variety and challenges for all skill levels. The famous black pistes such as "Silvester" and "Hernegg" attract the brave, while the snow parks and ski schools offer young skiers and snowboarders the opportunity to practise new tricks and improve their skills.
Kronplatz is not only known for its diverse range of pistes, but also for its breathtaking panorama. The spacious sunny plateau offers a 360° view of the surrounding mountain landscape and invites you to linger and enjoy. The Messner Mountain Museum "MMM Corones", designed by the renowned architect Zaha Hadid, is an architectural highlight on the Kronplatz. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in the world of alpinism and familiarise themselves with the north faces, the supreme discipline of mountaineering.
A special highlight is the opportunity to take the "Piculin" cable car to the famous "Sellaronda" and explore the 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski area in Alta Pusteria. The Ski Pustertal Express also makes it easy to reach and explore the surrounding ski areas.
Kronplatz therefore not only combines sporting challenges and fun on the piste, but also cultural and architectural highlights that make a visit to this versatile ski area an unforgettable experience.
