A look at the new destinations
From 30 March 2023, Munich Airport will start the new travel season with over 214,000 flights from 73 airlines. With a total of 216 destinations in 68 countries, there is a good chance that you will find your next dream holiday destination. Particularly exciting are the new long-haul flights, which offer travellers the opportunity to discover exotic places.

Long-haul flights for adventurers
The airline Cathay Pacific is now taking off four times a week to Hong Kong. This fascinating destination is ideal for travellers who want to experience the mix of tradition and modernity. Discover Airlines is also expanding its offering with direct flights to Orlando (USA), Windhoek (Namibia) and Calgary (Canada) - three times a week in each case.

Megacities and natural paradises
Lufthansa is bringing all eight Airbus A380s back to Munich with daily flights to exciting cities such as Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Washington and Delhi. Denver will be added to the list from the end of April. A brand new destination on the map is Tromsø in Norway, which will be served every Saturday. This city is the perfect starting point for adventures in the Arctic.

Stronger connections to Asia and the Middle East
There is also good news for long-haul travellers: The new connection to Bangalore (India) will be offered five times a week, while San Diego (California) will be served daily. Vietnam Airlines is expanding its services to Vietnam and will be flying to Hanoi three times a week from July.

The Taiwanese airline EVA Air will bring you to Taipei with modern Boeing 787 aircraft, and Etihad Airways will fly twice daily to Abu Dhabi from May. Another new addition to the programme is the Kazakh city of Shymkent, which will be served three times a week.

European highlights and more frequent connections
European air traffic will also benefit from the new services. easyJet will fly twice daily to Rome-Fiumicino in future, while ITA Airlines is increasing its service to Milan-Linate. In the charter sector, new destinations such as Foggia and Rimini are on the agenda from the end of May, as well as Mostar in Bosnia-Herzegovina, which will be served twice a week.

Optimum connections within Germany
Condor's daily connection between Munich and Frankfurt is particularly attractive for business travellers. With up to 120 departures per week, access to popular holiday destinations such as the Canary Islands and the Greek islands is also guaranteed.
