Innsbruck Airport Launches a Powerful New Winter Flight Schedule 2025/26

The winter season 2025/26 is shaping up to be one of the strongest yet for Innsbruck Airport. With new routes, expanded frequencies, and improved international connections, the airport is sending a clear signal: Tyrol remains one of Europe’s most important winter tourism destinations.
The biggest highlight? A new direct route to Düsseldorf, operated by Eurowings starting mid-December.

In the upcoming winter schedule, Innsbruck Airport offers flights to 24 European cities in 13 countries. The newest addition is Düsseldorf, a strategic hub for travelers from Germany and beyond.
From 12 December 2025, Eurowings will connect Innsbruck with the Rhine metropolis twice a week, flying every Friday and Sunday.

Alongside the new Düsseldorf connection, Eurowings continues to operate five weekly flights to Hamburg, ensuring strong links to northern Germany.

 

The United Kingdom remains a key market for Tyrol’s winter season, and this is reflected in the airport’s robust flight schedule. Several airlines are increasing their frequencies to meet high demand:

The popular Madrid route, reintroduced last winter by Iberia, remains part of the 2025/26 schedule with two weekly flights. Enhanced timings make Madrid an even more attractive international hub, offering smoother connections to long-haul destinations.
Thanks to the partnership with TUI Austria, travelers can book onward flights from Madrid to the Canary Islands and Mallorca—perfect for winter sun getaways.

In Belgium, TUI fly Belgium is taking over the direct Brussels route, complementing Austrian Airlines. From mid-December, TUI fly Belgium will operate two weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays.
